Completely self-taught artist. Marco Antonio Donayre Salazar was born in Lima, Peru. Since he was fifteen years old, this sensitive man, with a profound look, knew that his destiny was inevitably linked to art.

He graduated from SENATI with a degree in Mechanical Design and worked in prestigious advertising agencies as a draftsman, graphic designer and art director. He later traveled to Santa Cruz, Bolivia, where he was hired as a creative director in a well-known advertising agency.

Here in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, he decided to devote himself entirely to art. The need to teach, his natural talent for portraiture and his mastery of the techniques of pencil, charcoal, sepia, chalk pastel, acrylic, oil and watercolor quickly opens the doors to the artistic world and later his artwork begins to take on an exponential value. Then he dabbles in painting murals.

Currently, he works independently using art therapy and meditation, as a healing aid and at the same time in the formation of new talents,

Marco Donayre is without a doubt one of the current artists in constant growth, whose art transmits passion and strength, because in each of his works he goes beyond the obvious, seeking freedom of expression, developing a unique style within an exquisite discipline and technique. The result is a flood of powerful movement with fresh execution and a wonderful use of color.

Marco Donayre's art is internationally recognized. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Bolivia, Peru and the United States.
